Ace_Maverick Manifesto I would like to take a moment to express my disappointment and grief I have been feeling over the past few months. My favorite team in all of sports is losing and falling apart. Week after to wee it gets worse. The Green Bay Packers are once again losers and have returned to the bleak days of Forest Gregg and Lyndy Infante. I joined sportsubbler.com back in August of 2008. During the early days I expressed my concern over Ted Thompson, Mike McCarthy, and Mark Murphy. I told everyone how Ted Thompson was not qualified to be a General Manager of the NFL Football team. I warned that his misplaced ego would get in the way of sound football decisions. I was ridiculed and called names by a group of degenerates known as tedaphiles. Tedaphiles are people who blindly support Ted Thompson. Tedaphiles are angry people who hate the world and use people like Ted Thompson as there heroes. Tedaphiles tend to be arrogant short cited people who think they are smarter than everyone else when in fact their intellectual prowess is quite limited. Tedaphiles do not own up to their mistakes and Tedaphiles are not “Packers Fans.” I will now provide you with undeniable examples of how Ted Thompson’s idiocy and arrogance have destroyed the Green Bay Packers immediate future. 1) Draft Choices like Justin Harrell, Brian Brohm, etc. Ted Thompson makes draft choices in which he tries to out think everyone. He wants to find a diamond in the rough with every pick. This dangerous, egotistical style has led to mediocre draft picks and weakened the over all talent pool of the Packers. 2) Ted Thompson’s blown opportunities….Jarred Allen, Randy Moss, Tony Gonzalez, Alan Fenneca just to name a few. In the past 3 off-seasons the Green Bay Packers have had large amounts of cap room to add needed quality free-agents. Ted Thompson has signed no one of any significance in the past three seasons. During this time the Packers have had many noticeable areas of concern like OL, DL, Punter, RB, TE, Secondary Depth, etc. Knowing that Ted Thompson decided to go with younger (First time starting) QB one would of thought he at least would have given more attention to the offensive line. Off Course he did not. Ted Thomson marches to the beat of his own drummer and the evidence clearly shows. 3) Ted Thompson’s failure to be able to sign quality coaches. This past off-season the Packers were searching for a new defensive-coordinator. We end up settling for our 3rd or 4th choice Dom Capers after the other turned us down. Meanwhile our first and 2nd choices have revived defenses in New Orleans and Denver into to top 5 defenses. Too bad those coaches wanted nothing to do with Ted Thompson. Instead we get an old has been in Dom Capers. 4) Ted Thompson role in negotiating contracts. He has overpaid numerous players. Brady Popinga, Ryan Grant, Jarred Bush just to name a few. At the same time he has failed to secure players like Aaron Kampman, Jermichael Finley, and Donald Driver. The future is very uncertain with some players getting overpaid and the possibility of losing others. 5) Ted Thompson has lost his status as the leader of the franchise. He is a joke in most circles. Players and Agents dislike him, Fans hate him (Voted most hated person in Wisconsin), and he acts as if he could care less. I told all you the damage he was and is still causing. For those fair minded fans it is time to unite and boot this idiot out of Green Bay. (Notice there is not mention of our former QB) Ted’s failures are plentiful enough that there is no need to muddy the waters with that old subject. Secondly, I also called for the immediate removal of Mike McCarthy. I was also ridiculed by the tedaphiles for that opinion as well. The tedaphiles argued that Mike McCarthy was one of the best coaches in the league. Now 17 months later nearly all of the are calling for McCarthy to be fired. I warned how Big Mike could not game plan. I remarked week after week how is play calling was killing us. I talked about his lack of half-time adjustments. I talked about his ability to keep the team disciplined and focused. I talked about his excuse making. Most importantly I talked about his integrity. He has failed in all these areas miserably. The results have shown. 3 Years in a row at the top of the league in penalties. Terrible special teams play. Lazy players who take plays off, etc. The list could go on forever. It is clear Mike McCarthy is not a good coach and never really was. He got lucky having a future HOF to cover up for his weaknesses for one season when the pack was 13-3. Everything after that has been nothing but a failure. I Ace_Maverick told you this was what was going to happen. Here are few other misc. items I was also 100% dead on about. I predicted Jermichael Finley would be a rising star from training camp in 2008. Many idiots questioned me prediction. I guess I was right.I said AJ Hawk was to slow to play in 3-4 defense. He now plays a few plays a game. I guess I was right about that too.I said Aaron Kampman would be put of place in the 3-4 and have a horrible season. I was right about that too.I said Aaron Rodgers holds the ball too long all the time last season. I was accused of being a hater. Now everyone say he holds the ball too long. I said he reminds me of Rob Johnson who had about 1.5 years of stardom. Rob Johnson held the ball too long too. Eventually Rob Johnson got a major injury from holding the ball too long. Lets hope Aaron Rodgers get his head out of ass soon enough before he gets injured and ruins what seems to be a promising career.I said that Dom Capers was washed up. I said that is why the previous year he was only a special advisor the secondary coach of New England. If he was still so good, how come he had fallen so low. So 8 games in we have no pass rush just like the year before even though we are supposedly playing a more aggressive style of defense. I also said that we should extend the contract of Donald Driver. People laughed at me. Too date, which Packers has performed the best of all the players? Charles Woodson on defense and Donald Driver on offense. Donald Driver has shown no signs of slowing down like the tedaphiles wanted us all to believe. Fans, countryman I love the Green Bay Packers. It saddens me that the Packers are heading in the wrong direction. It saddens me more, than many of the users of sportsbubbler.com can’t act like real men who are decent human beings. There are still tedaphiles attacking other users in the support of Ted even after all of what has happened. Other tedaphiles want to minimize there actions by saying they are just supporting the team. Their rude and hurtful remarks 12-18 months go appeared to be much different. I call on all Packer Fans and all users of sportsbubbler.com to hold those accountable who will not even say their sorry for calling people names in their defense of Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy. They were wrong and the only way they can earn forgiveness and help united all Packer Fans is for them to say they are sorry. I would like to say I am sorry to all those who have acknowledged that Ted and Mike are not what they thought they were. I applaud your courage and your true loyalty to the Packers. The few of you losers who continue your old ways and you know who you are, remember this. “Rot in Hell.” |
